Balanced Training

The Positive ONLY training proved to be not very successful. We have learned a dog with NO consequences is not a very fun dog to live with or take out in public. But Dominanting your dog isn’t much fun for the dog either. So we need a balance of positive reinforcement and negative consequences.
Balanced training is where it is! They need to know that they have a choice to do right and be rewarded or do wrong and have a consequence. So they need to understand YES & NO. Yes gets them praise and or a treat NO means they will not get the praise or treat in that moment. It doesn’t mean they need hit or punished though.
